On the morning of January 8, 2008, the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, members of the Guangdong provincial party secretary Wang Yang came to study in Shantou for the first time.Wang Yang accompanied by Provincial Standing Committee,the Secretary-General Xiao Zhiheng, the provincial CPPCC Vice Chairman Chen Weiwen,Shantou party secretary Mr Alan Wong, the mayor Cai Zongze to Yihua, they visited the production line. Wang Yang asked about the production process, product technology content, technical innovation, enterprise efficiency and so on in detail.
Wang Yang also talked to the workers. In the workshop, Wang Yang asked a female worker from Shaanxi:Did you adapt to the environment?Did you return home? When he heard that Yihua had thousands of workers, he spoke highly about Yihua for the contribution to employment on transfer of rural surplus labor.
Wang Yang praised the company had the big size,good management, and creativity. Wang Yang pointed out that, who could emancipate the mind, who would be able to seize the opportunity, it was possible to win a new development environment and achieved a rapid development.
Wang Yang said to the secretary of the Chenghai District Zheng Jiahan: "You have this good company,making full use to support local enterprises to become bigger and stronger. Now it is the time to show companies to emancipate the mind, steps could be bigger. You should continuously improve capability of independent innovation, enhance industrial competitiveness in the increasingly fierce international economic and technological competition in order to take the initiative.
